Photography & Videography

We are here to answer any question you may have.

We shoot photo and video for businesses across Halifax and the wider HRM: brand and team photography, product shots, events, real estate listings, and aerial work on an Advanced RPAS certified drone. Most of it is filmed on location at your business, in one visit, and delivered ready to post.

Packages start at $79 plus HST if you supply the footage and $349 for a full on-site shoot. Everything below is what those actually contain.

Packages

Quick Edit — $79

You shoot it, we make it usable. Five to ten photos or short clips, professional colour and light correction, one 15 to 30 second Reel, background music and logo animation, optimised for Instagram and Facebook. Two-day delivery, one minor revision. This is the right call if your team already films on a phone and the footage is just sitting there.

On-Site Shoot — $349

We come to you. A two-hour shoot with a professional 4K camera and a 4K drone, three Reels-length videos, 15 edited photographs, Meta Ads setup for Facebook and Instagram, music and logo integration. Five-day delivery, two revision rounds. This is the most-booked package and it suits most local service businesses, clinics, restaurants and trades.

Visual Boost — $799

Full production. Two-hour on-site shoot, 4K camera and drone, five Reels-length videos, 20 professionally edited photographs, cinematic colour grading and sound mixing, custom intro and outro built on your brand, Meta Ads setup, plus a two-week optimization and performance report. Seven-day delivery, five revisions.

Add 14% HST to all three. Anything beyond this — multi-day shoots, scripted work, multiple locations — is quoted per project.

What We Photograph

  • Brand and team. Real photographs of your actual people and premises. These do more for a website than any amount of stock imagery, and they feed your Google Business Profile, which now weights recent, genuine photos heavily.
  • Product. Clean, consistent shots for e-commerce and social, lit properly so colours are accurate rather than flattering.
  • Events. Openings, conferences, community events. Coverage plus a short edited recap while it is still timely.
  • Real estate. Listings shot inside and out with aerial coverage on the same visit. Details on the real estate photography page.
  • Aerial. Property, construction progress and events, flown legally. See drone videography in Halifax.

Video, Specifically

Video splits into three jobs and they are priced differently, so it helps to know which one you need.

If you need someone to film something, that is a video shoot: planning, shot list, direction on the day, and footage that can actually be cut together afterwards. If you already have footage and no finished video, that is video editing, priced by the hour and usually the best value in the whole list. If what you are missing is the aerial angle, that is the drone service.

Our broader design and video work sits on the video design page, and finished examples are in the portfolio.

How It Works

  1. Tell us what it is for. A shoot for a website homepage and a shoot for a month of social content are planned differently from the first minute. This is the question that changes everything downstream.
  2. We plan the day. Shot list, timing, how much of your team’s time we need. You see it before we arrive.
  3. We shoot on location. We work around your business rather than shutting it down, and we bring lighting so a dim office is not a problem.
  4. Edit and delivery. Colour-matched, in the aspect ratios your platforms need, on the timeline in your package.

Common Questions

Do we need to prepare anything?

Tidy the areas we will be filming and decide in advance who is comfortable being on camera. Those two things save more time than anything else.

What if nobody on our team wants to be filmed?

Common, and workable. Voiceover with b-roll of the work itself often performs better than a reluctant person talking to a lens.

Can we use the photos in paid advertising?

Yes. Web, social and paid use are included. Broadcast or resale is a separate conversation, so raise it at quoting stage.

How often should we shoot?

For most local businesses, once a quarter with a batch of content is more effective than one large annual shoot. Platforms reward consistency, and a month of clips from one visit costs far less than four visits.

Do you shoot weddings?

No. We work with businesses, and someone who shoots weddings every weekend will serve you better.

Where We Work

On location across Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford, Sackville and the wider HRM as standard. Further into Nova Scotia with travel included in the quote.
